"The inauguration of the new president has been held. His statements before and after the inauguration look promising and I want to believe in the implementation of these statements," said Olga Kussyseva, a representative of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic in the subgroup on humanitarian issues.
She stressed that the LNR confirmed its readiness to implement the Minsk agreements, in particular, to conduct a prisoner exchange according to the formula "all for all". Ms. Kussyseva also expressed hope that the new Ukrainian authorities would solve the problem of restoring the destroyed bridge on the only road between the LNR and the territory controlled by Kiev, the Stanitsa Luganskaya checkpoint.
