(Baonghean.vn) - On June 23, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the province issued Official Dispatch No. 1429/SNN-TT on strengthening the direction of production for the summer-autumn crop in 2015. The content is as follows:

In the past few days, there has been rain in many places in the province, the amount of rain is not large but the weather has gradually cooled down, creating favorable conditions for planting and caring for crops. In order for the Summer-Autumn crop 2015 to achieve high results in terms of area, productivity and output, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts and cities to focus on directing the implementation of the following contents:

1. Direct specialized departments and commune leaders to review the entire crop area damaged by drought in the past time, clearly classify the damage level of each crop to serve as a basis for proposing recovery measures and implementing support policies for farmers.

2. For rice: + Review the entire area of ​​summer-autumn rice in the locality, unplanted areas should be clearly classified as to which areas should be converted to other crops and which areas should be converted to seasonal rice to have a plan to ensure seeds for farmers to plant the entire area.

+ For the summer-autumn rice area that has been planted, combine and fertilize according to the planting schedule every 5 days to have a basis for care and pest control. Areas with intensive farming conditions should focus on care to achieve high productivity.

+ For the flooded summer-autumn rice area (low-lying areas) before June 25, if there is water, the mutant P6 variety will still be used to sow rice in a closed area.

+ Focus on seeds, fertilizers, and direct seasonal rice production according to the prescribed crop schedule.

3. For crops (corn, peanuts, sesame, beans of all kinds...): based on the specific situation when ensuring soil moisture, implement planting to ensure the highest planned area under allowable conditions.
