However, seriously assessing, the fire and explosion situation in the area is still complicated at times, the number of fires still occurs a lot, specifically: From December 15, 2023 to October 30, 2024, there were 56 fires and 145 fire incidents in the province; although there were no human casualties, the estimated property damage was more than 3.5 billion VND.

In the coming time, it is forecasted that the production, business and storage of goods for the Lunar New Year and the Spring festivals in early 2025 will increase, with high electricity consumption at business and production establishments and households; in dry weather conditions, this will lead to risks of fire safety.

To proactively prevent, stop, and minimize the number of fires and explosions and damage caused by fires and explosions, contributing to ensuring security, order, and fire safety in the province, the Provincial People's Committee requests:

Actively and closely coordinate with the police, army and border guards stationed in the area to promptly and effectively fight fires and explosions; minimizing human and property damage, promptly overcoming consequences and stabilizing the situation in the area. Strengthening inspection of the combat readiness of the civil defense force and the conditions for fire fighting and on-site rescue.

Issue a document directing agencies, units and organizations in the area to strengthen fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work, organize signing of commitments, voluntarily comply with the provisions of the law on fire prevention and fighting, and prevent large fires and explosions from happening. Request facilities and residential areas to strengthen security forces, patrol and guard to ensure fire safety during the dry season, festivals and Lunar New Year 2025.

Localities organizing spring festivals must focus on directing and ensuring fire safety on-site, such as: propagating and recommending fire safety regulations; organizing forces, equipping means and training fire safety skills for on-site forces; developing and organizing fire fighting drills, paying special attention to fire fighting plans in parking lots; rescuing and saving crowded places...

Provincial PoliceCoordinate with relevant agencies and units to strengthen propaganda and guidance for people in using gas, electricity, chemicals, arranging and storing goods, equipping fire prevention and fighting equipment, escape and emergency escape; propagate fire prevention measures in residential and business houses, industrial parks, supermarkets, markets, commercial centers, cultural relic sites, apartment buildings, high-rise buildings...

Organize a general review and inspection of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue at establishments under the State management of fire prevention and fighting, focusing on closely inspecting business establishments with conditions on security and order, large-scale establishments, crowded establishments, highly dangerous, fire and explosion-prone establishments such as: hotels, motels, karaoke establishments, bars, dance clubs, apartments, high-rise buildings, markets, shopping centers, warehouses, factories... Strictly handle violations of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue; resolutely suspend or terminate operations according to the provisions of law.

For facilities that still have violations of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue, it is necessary to organize re-inspections and checks on the implementation of the facilities, ensuring that the existing problems and violations of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue are thoroughly remedied according to regulations.

Actively review, develop, supplement, and adjust firefighting and rescue plans for facilities under fire prevention and fighting management; especially firefighting and rescue plans for key projects and facilities with high fire and explosion risks, with coordination and mobilization of many forces and means.
