With the assigned functions and tasks, in the first 9 months of this year, the waterway police force organized hundreds of patrols with over 1,000 officers and soldiers participating; detected and recorded 559 violations of the law on inland waterway traffic; issued administrative fines and paid over 562 million VND to the state treasury; reminded and educated 152 cases, and suspended the operation of 73 vehicles.
