Strengthening the fight against gambling
(Baonghean) - To prepare well for the summary of 10 years of implementing Directive No. 22-CT/TU dated April 28, 2004, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee (15th term) on strengthening leadership in the fight against gambling, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has developed Plan No. 115-KH/TU to organize the summary with the aim of accurately assessing the current situation and results after 10 years of implementation; through the summary, seriously reviewing the limitations and weaknesses in the leadership and direction of Party committees and governments at all levels, and the performance of tasks by functional agencies in the fight against gambling, in order to implement it better in the future.
Based on this plan, the Party Committees at all levels, Party Committees of agencies, departments, and organizations at the provincial level; and the Party Committees of districts, cities, and towns are required to lead and direct the organization of the summary of the directive and send the summary report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee (through the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department) before February 25, 2014.
Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department:
- Develop a summary report outline to serve as a basis for self-assessment and reporting by agencies, localities, and inspection teams.
- In coordination with the Provincial Public Security Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Chairman advised the Provincial Party Standing Committee to establish five inspection teams to review the results of 10 years of leadership and guidance in implementing Directive No. 22 in a number of district-level and provincial-level agencies and units.
- Prepare the content and other necessary conditions to advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on organizing the conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 22.
- Monitor and urge district-level authorities and provincial-level departments to organize the summary of Directive No. 22 on schedule and with quality; summarize the overall situation and report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
- Coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee Office to prepare budget estimates for organizing inspection teams of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and provincial-level conferences, and submit them to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for decision.
Provincial Public Security Party Committee:
- In coordination with the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, we will assign officials to participate in inspection teams, serving as team leaders and deputy leaders.
- Together with the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, prepare a draft report on the results of 10 years of implementing the directive (to be completed before February 25, 2014).
Provincial Party Committee Office:
Provide advice on budgeting for inspections and meetings, and prepare invitations for provincial-level conferences.
