(Baonghean.vn) - Strengthening the supervision of cadres and party members in preventing corruption and negativity is one of the contents that the Central Internal Affairs Commission and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have agreed to coordinate in the coming time.
On October 29, the Central Internal Affairs Commission and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Delegation held an online conference to review 5 years of implementing the Coordination Regulations.
The Central side of the conference was chaired by comrades: Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Deputy Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and anti-negativity, Deputy Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform; Do Van Chien - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Vo Van Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Standing Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, member of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and anti-negativity; Le Tien Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation, Vice Chairman, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Strengthening supervision of cadres and party members
The conference agreed to continue signing the Coordination Regulations in the coming time, the Central Internal Affairs Commission and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee agreed on 7 contents of tasks and solutions for implementation. In particular, it emphasized strengthening coordination in advising the Party and the State on the State's policies and laws on internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity, and judicial reform. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen supervision of cadres and party members in implementing the Party's policies and regulations and the State's laws on anti-corruption and negativity; supervise the implementation of the responsibility to resolve complaints and denunciations and the handling of cadres and party members related to corruption and negativity.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac emphasized the need to strengthen coordination, promote the role of the people in monitoring, detecting in anti-corruption, monitoring the setting of examples, transparency, and responsibility of leaders in handling complaints and denunciations, in handling corruption and negativity of functional agencies, especially negativity in management and appointment of officials. Through monitoring, it is necessary to bring prominent cases for monitoring and handling.
The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission hopes that the two agencies will continue to coordinate more closely in their work, especially in anti-corruption, anti-corruption and judicial reform. Increase coordination in monitoring and grasping information and public opinion on cases and cases of public concern to advise and recommend competent authorities to handle them. Improve the efficiency of the two agencies
Previously, the report summarized 5 years of implementing the Coordination Regulation between the two agencies.Internal affairsand the Vietnam Fatherland Front, comrade Vo Van Dung said that in recent times, the two agencies have closely coordinated in advising and proposing to the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and anti-negativity on major policies and guidelines on internal affairs, anti-corruption and judicial reform; participating in giving opinions on building and perfecting legal institutions related to the field of anti-corruption and anti-waste, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of citizens.
The two agencies have also carried out many monitoring activities directly related to issues of public concern; incidents and areas that are likely to arise.corruption, negativity, waste, trouble, and harassment against people and businesses. Coordinate in collecting opinions, recommendations, and reflections from voters and people related to internal affairs, anti-corruption, negativity, and judicial reform. Monitor the implementation of thrift, anti-waste, etc.

In addition, the conference also pointed out shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome, analyzed the causes and drew lessons to improve the effectiveness of coordination between the two agencies.
In addition to agreeing on 7 basic orientations on directions and coordination tasks, the conference also agreed that in the coming time, it is necessary to well implement 6 specific work contents. These include contents on coordinating propaganda and mobilizing people; monitoring thematic issues on cultivating ethics, lifestyle, compliance with policies and regulations of leaders, key officials at all levels and officials and party members; grasping the situation, regularly reflecting public opinion...

At the conference, many delegates also had presentations with many specific contents to improve the effectiveness of coordination between the two agencies. Some delegates suggested continuing to strengthen monitoring activities, especiallymonitorcultivating the lifestyle and ethics of cadres and party members; supervising the fight against corruption at all levels. Delegates also suggested studying and implementing the project to launch the campaign for the entire people to participate in the fight against corruption at the appropriate time. Amending and supplementing a number of articles in the Coordination Regulations to make the coordination work more effective.
On this occasion, the Conference awarded the Medal "For the cause of Party Internal Affairs" and the Medal "For the cause of great national unity" to 15 individuals who have made many contributions in the past time.
