Strengthen inspection and improve public ethics of civil servants and party members

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 4, the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Public Security Sector held a meeting to evaluate the results of implementing the coordination regulations in 2013.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the conference. Also attending were comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, members of the Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Provincial Public Security Sector.

In 2013, the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Public Security Sector implemented well the coordination regulations between the two sides, contributing to promoting the work of building grassroots party organizations and improving the effectiveness of state management of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

The two sides have proactively grasped and exchanged information on the results of implementing political tasks, administrative reform work, and implementing grassroots democracy regulations of departments, branches, and sectors to promptly lead and direct; strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of handling results after public service inspections, promptly correct violations and shortcomings, create positive changes in sense of responsibility, improve skills and working methods of civil servants. During the year, the Party Committee of the bloc directed the inspection of 32 party members and 16 party organizations with signs of violations, and disciplined 30 party members who were irresponsible in performing public duties.

The two sides have also effectively coordinated in leading the work of evaluating and classifying departments, branches, sectors, and Party organizations; the work of rotating cadres, developing cadre plans, discovering and introducing cadre sources. Directing Party organizations to focus on effectively implementing the overcoming of shortcomings and tasks that need to be done immediately after reviewing Resolution 4 of the Central Committee and Directive 03 of the Politburo in conjunction with Regulation 101QD/TU on the responsibility of setting an example for Party members and cadres, especially key cadres at all levels.

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong suggested that the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Party Executive Committee of the bloc coordinate more closely to overcome shortcomings and limitations. That is, the monitoring and overcoming of the contents that need to be done immediately after the 4th Central Committee review of departments, branches, and grassroots party organizations is not regular, the direction is sometimes not resolute; not really sharp in grasping information about the situation of cadres and party members, especially units with many petitions and public opinions, to have timely solutions; not timely checking the implementation of political tasks in key departments and branches, so there is still the phenomenon of forgetting work...

He emphasized that in the coming time, the two sides need to strengthen coordination to promote public service inspection work, improve public service ethics of cadres and party members; focus on solving tasks that need to be done immediately after the review according to Resolution 4 of the Central Committee and soon put Resolution 26 of the Politburo into practice.
