Strengthening legal dissemination for officials and people in remote areas
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 20, at the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to disseminate, deploy and train on the implementation of the Project "Strengthening the dissemination and education of law for officials and people in border and island areas in the period of 2014-2016" in the province. Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Project Steering Committee chaired. Attending were representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors, along with border and coastal districts and towns.

At the conference, delegates were informed of the basic contents of the Project "Strengthening the dissemination and education of law for officials and people in border and island areas in the period of 2014-2016" of the Government; Decision on the establishment and regulations of the Steering Committee and the Secretariat of the Project; Dissemination and deployment of documents implementing the Project, the plan for implementing the Project in the period of 2014-2016 in the province, the program for implementing the Project in phase 1 (2014-7/2015); Announcement of the funding source provided by the Central Steering Committee to communes and wards in 2014. At the conference, delegates also discussed measures to organize the implementation of the Project and contents related to the implementation of the Project.

Concluding the conference, comrade Le Xuan Dai emphasized the position and role of the border and island areas in the current period and the importance of disseminating and raising legal awareness for officials and people in this area. He requested relevant levels, sectors and localities to strengthen training and capacity building for those who carry out legal education and dissemination work, including reporters, collaborators, propagandists, especially officers of Border Guard stations in the province.
