Strengthening coordination between schools, families and society in preventing school violence
(Baonghean.vn) - The recent increase in school violence has sounded an alarm bell in schools. This further requires increased coordination between schools, families and society in educating students.
On the afternoon of May 22, the Department of Education and Training organized a training course on coordination skills between schools, families and society in educating high school students.
In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Nguyen Van Khoa mentioned some prominent cases of school violence in Nghe An province recently. That has sounded the alarm bell in schools, especially when violence has changed, not only in physical but also in mental violence, violence in cyberspace. In particular, there have been many cases of fighting, filming clips on social networks, isolating, abusing, and manipulating the psychology of students, which have seriously affected them.

Faced with the increasing situation of school violence, the Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training questioned the cause of the above situation: “Have we ever asked why there is school violence? How is school violence today different from the past? How harmful is the impact of violence, why does violence today spread so quickly on social networks?"
From the above reality, leaders of the education sector suggest that schools need to pay special attention to this issue. In particular, focusing on educating students with love and sharing: Teachers must understand students, must have spiritual communication, express thoughts, feelings, and emotions to be able to influence students.

To limit the situationschool violence, schools also need to pay attention to the coordination skills between school, family and society, especially the family side, so that there can be companionship and support with the school in educating students. In addition, it is also reminded that some schools or some teachers are still indifferent, insensitive, and lack of attention to students with abnormal signs or individual students who are slow to progress.
