Overview of the Conference.
In 2012, the Regional Radio Frequency Center VI has implemented activities, coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications of the provinces in the region to effectively manage radio frequencies, ensuring the tasks of national defense - security and economic development. The report results show that although there are still some issues that need to be overcome, in general, the coordination of radio frequency and equipment management between the Center and the Department of Information and Communications in the region in 2012 has had positive changes in both quantity and quality.
At the meeting, the Regional Radio Frequency Center VI and the Departments of Information and Communications of 4 provinces in the region signed a commitment to effectively implement radio frequency management in 2013 with specific contents, aiming to coordinate in disseminating and popularizing state regulations in the field of radio frequencies, advising the Provincial People's Committee to issue documents on radio frequency management in the locality; strengthening inspection, examination, handling of violations, resolving interference; coordinating in managing radio and television broadcasting and wireless broadcasting. The conference also provided guidance on procedures for preparing application documents for licenses, receiving applications, collecting fees and charges, and granting licenses; coordinating in granting licenses for wireless broadcasting and fishing vessels.
