Strengthening coordination in propaganda on collective economy and cooperatives

At the beginning of the working session, the representative of the Provincial Cooperative Union highlighted the need for a coordinated propaganda program with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department. Accordingly, the content and form of propaganda on collective economy and cooperatives have new changes. According to the spirit of Resolution No. 20, the 5th Central Conference (13th tenure) on collective economy, there are new requirements, which need to be oriented in ideology, directed, and disseminated to cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.

According to the Coordination Program, along with strengthening propaganda, it is necessary to promptly and effectively refute false and hostile information distorting the collective economy; advise and propose preliminary and final summaries of the Party's resolutions, documents and directives on the collective economy and cooperatives; coordinate in organizing practical surveys inside and outside the province on the collective economy and cooperatives; management experience and models, research results on applying scientific and technological advances to production; discover and replicate new factors, typical advanced models... The parties need to promote responsibility, be proactive and active in coordination.

In the spirit of cooperation, the departments of both sides made additional statements on some contents that need to be focused on in coordination so that the regulations are closer to the actual situation; it is necessary to adhere to the spirit of Resolution No. 20, 5th Central Conference, 13th tenure to have a correct understanding of collective economy and cooperatives; through the practical development of collective economy and cooperative groups in localities, it is necessary to promptly discover new and effective models and methods and frankly point out weaknesses and limitations for more appropriate propaganda.

At the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department shared the difficulties of the Provincial Cooperative Union in the new period, when the collective economy and cooperative economy have changed, the role and position of cooperatives are different from before.

On the basis of recognizing the efforts of the Provincial Cooperative Union in reaching out to connect agricultural products for farmers, following the spirit of Resolution 20 on collective economy and cooperation, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department suggested that the two sides develop a plan and specific coordination content for each month and quarter, closely following the province's management contents to propagate Resolution 20 vividly and effectively.

On the basis of additional discussions, the two sides agreed and signed a program of coordination in propaganda on the development of collective economy and cooperatives in the province for the period 2021-2025.
