In August, there were 343 delegations/1,533 people coming to Nghe An to exchange, cooperate in investment; border security, mountainous ethnic minority areas and religious security, some of which showed signs of complexity and violations. During the month, there were 17 citizens coming to the Provincial People's Reception Council to complain and denounce, a decrease of 14 cases compared to the previous month. Regarding social order and safety, 76 cases of crimes violating social order were discovered; 92 cases/106 subjects were discovered and arrested, 1 large drug ring was eliminated, 3 subjects were arrested for drug trafficking from Laos to Ho Chi Minh City for consumption, including a particularly dangerous criminal in Vinh City; 32 cases were discovered and arrested, 35 subjects violated economic and environmental laws...

Concluding the working session, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Internal Affairs Committee to receive and handle the opinions of the sectors; at the same time, frankly pointed out the weaknesses and shortcomings such as slow conclusions on the causes of forest fires, failure to update and verify in a timely manner some corruption reports; the situation of smuggling of gasoline, forest products and mineral exploitation still has many violations, it is necessary to focus on control and strengthen the fight; not yet advising on the definitive resolution of land violations related to religion in parishes; must learn from experience in organizing and directing land recovery and site clearance for construction of National Highway 1A; not yet organizing recovery after inspection of some cases.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that in September, the sectors must step up the fight against and suppress crime, proactively detect and resolve each case; coordinate to resolve complicated land violations in some parishes and churches; thoroughly resolve crime reports; strengthen the work of receiving people, resolving complaints and denunciations, especially complicated and long-standing cases; do a good job of forest fire prevention and fighting; proactively advise on working plans with the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption; focus on fighting crimes in some areas such as smuggling, human trafficking, transporting forest products, illegal mining; ensure stability of the situation, prevent mass gatherings of people to file complaints; organize military handovers well; rectify violations in the fields of social policy, judicial records, etc. /.
