Strengthening the promotion of the image of Uncle Ho's homeland in the Party newspaper

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 22, a working delegation of Nghe An Newspaper had a working session with the Standing Committee of Nam Dan District Party Committee on propaganda, distribution and use of Party newspapers.

Implementing the work coordination plan, in 2016, Nghe An Newspaper reflected quite clearly the socio-economic activities of Nam Dan district, thereby contributing to promoting the emulation movement of the district. Specifically, the newspaper has published over 100 news and articles, notably a series of articles on improving the effectiveness of Party organization leadership: reflecting the atmosphere of launching and competing to reach the New Rural Finish line; typical models and examples of effective production and business; festivals; cultural activities; products, cuisine... District agencies, departments and collaborators closely coordinated with Nghe An Newspaper in providing information and writing articles for the newspaper.

Regarding the distribution and use of Party newspapers, thanks to the close direction of the Standing Committee of Nam Dan District Party Committee, by March 2017, the number of Nghe An Newspapers issued reached 582 copies/issue, of which 541 copies were ordered and 41 copies were issued; 3 units were commended for their outstanding achievements in directing the purchase and use of newspapers; and contracts for purchasing newspapers for the whole year were signed for units.

However, Nam Dan's newspaper propaganda and subscription work still has some limitations: there are many news and articles but there are no in-depth and impressive articles; some incidents reported by newspapers have not been fully responded to by the district; some units have not seriously implemented Directive 11/CT-TW on subscription and use of Party newspapers, leading to the district lacking 25 copies/issue; some Party committees and school Party cells still cut newspapers during the summer.

Based on the comments and suggestions from the functional departments, comrade Nguyen Lam Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee concluded: Basically agree with the direction and key tasks in 2017 proposed by Nghe An Newspaper. Highly appreciate the results of the coordination with Nghe An Newspaper last year.

In the coming time, to create consensus among the people in implementing political tasks, Nam Dan district will actively coordinate with Nghe An Newspaper to develop a plan to strongly propagate the results of implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels for the 2015-2020 term; the process of building the district to meet the standards of a New Rural District; continue to review and find out the reasons for the lack of newspaper subscriptions in some Party cells and Party committees; strive for 100% of Party cell focal points and subjects according to regulations to have Nghe An Newspaper; strengthen inspection and review to promptly handle and respond to issues raised by the newspaper; the two sides will strengthen coordination and support each other in building a network of collaborators, building websites, and local newsletters.
