(Baonghean.vn) -Under the chairmanship of comrade Tran Hong Chau, on the afternoon of August 29, the Provincial Party Committee continued its meeting to listen to and give opinions on the results of 7 years of implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU dated September 26, 2006 of the Provincial Party Committee on building and developing Cua Lo town into a tourist city by 2015, with a view to 2020.

After 7 years of implementing Resolution 05-NQ/TU, the socio-economic situation of the town has continuously developed, most of the socio-economic indicators have been achieved and exceeded the plan, in which some indicators have been quite exceeded. Many programs and projects have been implemented, the economic structure has shifted in the right direction, rapid growth, positive changes in social culture, national defense and security have been maintained, the town has been awarded the Second Class Labor Medal and recognized as a type III urban area. Cua Lo tourism has affirmed its brand, leaving a good impression on tourists and people of all walks of life.
