After one year of implementation in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town, this model has gradually raised awareness and changed more positive behaviors for target groups in implementing policies on population and family planning; built many "Happy Family" clubs, and deployed reproductive health services for people.
At the workshop, delegates affirmed that this is a practical and extremely necessary model. However, population work in special areas and areas with high birth rates still faces many difficulties because some people still have the mindset of having many children and do not accept the small family model. Communication work in some communes has not been invested in and lacks innovation...
The lessons learned at the workshop are an important basis for the population sector to advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue the Project "Strengthening communication activities and providing services on Population - Reproductive Health Care in special communes with high birth rates in Nghe An province in the period of 2016 - 2020".
