The conference focused on discussing local press activities in January and February. It acknowledged and highly appreciated a series of quality propaganda articles on investment attraction activities in Nghe An province, creating a strong and impressive spread.

Press agencies continue to promote critical thinking, focusing on handling pressing social issues such as: violations of some unlicensed projects, slow-progress projects, "suspended" projects; the exploitation of soil, sand, and gold causing loss of resources.

In addition, representatives of press agencies said that there are still many limitations in attracting investment such as the phenomenon of "spreading nails" by authorities, especially in handling administrative procedures, causing many businesses to be "discouraged"; The use and burning of firecrackers during and after Tet tends to increase, especially in rural areas; The situation of young people using laughing gas a lot at entertainment venues. In the propaganda orientation for March 2019, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department proposed to continue to propagate the results of anti-corruption work, the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo, in conjunction with Directive No. 17 of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on "Strengthening discipline and administrative discipline in agencies and units in the province", the results of 5 years of implementing Project 07-DA/TU on "Enhancing exemplary behavior, combating conservative thinking, waiting, and dependence among cadres and party members", especially the implementation of administrative procedure reform, rectifying the manners and styles of cadres and party members.
