Strengthening the construction of economic models in mountainous areas
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 3, continuing the program of meeting voters after the 8th session of the 13th National Assembly, Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi, a National Assembly delegate, met with voters of Ha Son commune, Quy Hop district.
Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi informed the voters of the results of the 8th session of the 13th National Assembly. After that, voters made recommendations to the National Assembly delegates on a number of areas. Accordingly, voters suggested that the State should strengthen the construction of economic models, support production for people, especially ethnic minorities, to avoid the situation of people spontaneously and ineffectively producing agriculture. The province should also have specific solutions in guiding people to choose suitable and quality varieties of crops and livestock; and support sugarcane prices for farmers.
In addition, regarding the implementation of the New Rural Development Program, voters believe that the support policy for new rural development is still low, while inflationary prices make the implementation of new rural development difficult. In addition, the State also needs to review the criteria for new rural development, and should not equate mountainous and delta areas because the lives of people in mountainous areas still face many difficulties. In addition, voters also recommend promptly implementing support policies for boarding students because the implementation has been slow for a long time; having a policy for Kinh people living in region 135; speeding up the progress of Chau Thon - Tan Xuan road; speeding up the progress of housing support for meritorious people; increasing the level of production support loans for the poor because it is currently low; thoroughly handling land disputes.
Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi directly responded to voters' petitions and assigned the delegation's secretary to synthesize the content and send voters' opinions to the National Assembly and relevant agencies./.
