Increasing the effectiveness of state management on Standards - Quality Measurement

The Department has coordinated to organize 17 inspections and checks on measurement, quality, and labeling of goods in production and circulation of fertilizers, gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas, helmets, measuring instruments, pre-packaged goods, electricity - electronics, electric meters, analytical scales, technical scales and common scales on the market, environmental protection inspections; measurement and quality checks at gasoline trading enterprises in the province.
Electric meter inspection at the Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality
Testing and evaluating the quality of goods and products to serve the appraisal requests of the inspection teams of the Law on Quality Control, environmental protection inspection and the quality management requirements of enterprises with 274 samples and 789 quality indicators. The Department also inspected 16 imported shipments, completed procedures quickly and promptly, meeting the requirements of enterprises and in accordance with the State's regulations; evaluated the quality of 13 types of goods, vehicles and equipment, including: 13 cars, 3 motorbikes, 1 shipment of phones and 1 shipment of fabric; participated in 22 commodity quality evaluation councils organized by the Provincial People's Committee for machinery, equipment, cars and motorbikes.
Recently, the Department has been licensed by the Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety to conduct inspections of medical diagnostic X-ray equipment (conventional X-ray equipment, X-ray equipment with television intensifier and X-ray equipment with computed tomography - CT Scanner). Ensuring uniform and accurate measurements for production and business establishments, places with large delivery of goods such as: gasoline, reserves, sugarcane, cassava starch, white stone, cement, taximeters, at commercial centers, markets, etc. Coordinate with the People's Committees of Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu districts to organize the management and inspection of electricity measuring equipment (electricity meters of all kinds) at electricity trading cooperatives, enterprises and individuals using electricity meters. The Department has also deployed inspections of the operation of reference weighing stations in the whole province according to Decision 78 of the Provincial People's Committee; The organization manages and inspects 26,111 devices of all kinds, including: 1-phase and 3-phase electric meters, scales of all kinds, taxi meters, fuel meters, pressure gauges, blood pressure gauges, car tanks, etc.
Through the inspection results, the Department has advised the relevant authorities to handle a number of violations of measurement standards, quality of goods and equipment, contributing to ensuring the rights of consumers; contributing to helping businesses, organizations and individuals participating in production and service activities to rectify their activities, build brands and products, and gradually apply national and international standards.
