Giving calendars and ceremonial publications to 6 border districts on the occasion of the Lunar New Year
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the Government's policy for ethnic minorities in border communes, the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Nghe An province has transported wall calendars and sets of ritual publications to ethnic minorities in border communes across the province on the occasion of the 2013 Lunar New Year.
From January 26 to February 4, 54,919 calendars and 54,746 sets of ritual publications were transported to distribute to subjects in 6 border districts, including 13,928 sets and accompanying calendars in Ky Son, 15,837 sets and accompanying calendars in Tuong Duong, 14,561 sets and accompanying calendars in Que Phong, 6,611 sets and accompanying calendars in Thanh Chuong, 3,376 sets and accompanying calendars in Con Cuong, and 396 sets and accompanying calendars in Anh Son.
The above publications are provided to families, cultural houses of villages, party committee offices, People's Committees of border communes, communes in district 30a, each unit, family 1 calendar sheet and 1 set of ceremonial publications; Particularly, the People's Committee Offices of districts with border communes, district 30a each district 10 calendar sheets.
This is a preferential regime granted according to regulations and is the State's concern and encouragement for ethnic people in border areas to celebrate Spring and Tet, in which the calendar is issued once a year, the set of ceremonial publications including 1 photo book of Uncle Ho, 1 pair of parallel sentences, 1 pair of paintings are issued every 2 years on the occasion of Lunar New Year.
