Increase the subsidy and preferential allowance for people with meritorious services to 1,515,000 VND?

Specifically, in the draft Decree regulating the levels of subsidies and preferential allowances for people with revolutionary contributions, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs proposed the levels of subsidies and allowances for a number of people with revolutionary contributions as follows:

Revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945, with an exemption, receive a subsidy of 1,693,000 VND/month, and an allowance of 287,000 VND/1 year of seniority; those who are not exempt, receive a subsidy of 2,874,000 VND/month. The death benefit for relatives of revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945 who passed away is 1,515,000 VND/month.

Biological father, biological mother, wife or husband, children aged 18 or older living alone without support or children under 18 years old who have lost both parents and are receiving monthly pension benefits will receive an additional pension for raising children of VND 1,212,000/month.

Revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to the August 1945 uprising were granted a monthly allowance of 1,566,000 VND. The death benefit for relatives of revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to the August 1945 uprising who passed away was 850,000 VND/month. Biological fathers, biological mothers, wives or husbands, children aged 18 and over who live alone without support, or children under 18 who have lost both parents and are receiving monthly death benefits, are entitled to an additional death benefit of 1,212,000 VND/month.

The death benefit for the relative of 1 martyr is 1,515,000 VND/month; the death benefit for the relative of 2 martyrs is 3,030,000 VND/month; for the relative of 3 or more martyrs, the benefit is 4,545,000 VND/month; the death benefit for the wife or husband of a martyr who remarries (not entitled to additional death benefit for foster care) is 1,515,000 VND/month.

Biological father, biological mother, wife or husband, person who has raised a martyr, children aged 18 or older who live alone without support or children under 18 years old who have lost both parents and are receiving monthly pensions will receive an additional pension for raising a martyr of VND 1,212,000/month.

Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (receiving monthly pensions at the pension level for relatives of martyrs as above) are entitled to an allowance of 1,270,000 VND/month. The allowance for those who take care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers living in the family is 1,515,000 VND/month. Heroes of the People's Armed Forces and Heroes of Labor during the resistance war period are entitled to an allowance of 1,270,000 VND/month.

War invalids and people enjoying the same policies as war invalids receive disability allowances from VND 1,021,000/month - VND 4,858,000/month depending on the rate of reduced working capacity.

Type B disabled soldiers receive disability benefits from VND 843,000/month to VND 4,019,000/month depending on the rate of reduced working capacity.
