Donating a solidarity house in Quynh Doi commune (Quynh Luu)
(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of March 28, Major General Ho Sy Tien - Director of the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes - Ministry of Public Security, along with officers and soldiers, visited and presented money to support the construction of solidarity houses and the Fund for the Poor in Quynh Doi commune, Quynh Luu district.

With a heart towards the origin, wishing to contribute a part of their efforts to poverty reduction and social security in the locality, officers and soldiers of the Department of Investigation of Crimes on Social Order have donated and supported from their salaries 120 million VND. From this amount, the Department of Investigation of Crimes on Social Order has given 50 million VND to support the fund for the poor of Quynh Doi commune, 50 million VND to build a solidarity house for Ms. Duong Thi Xuan - a poor, single, disabled household who cannot afford to build a house in hamlet 1 and 20 million VND to the family of Mr. Nguyen Ba Hop - a war invalid, father of martyr Nguyen Ngoc Tien in hamlet 2 to repair and upgrade the house.
At the donation ceremony, representatives of the Party Committee, the government of Quynh Doi commune and the households receiving the donation expressed their gratitude for the kindness and noble gestures that the officers and soldiers of the Criminal Police Department had given. Local leaders promised to use this money for the right purpose and promote its effectiveness to help poor households in the area gradually stabilize and improve their lives.
On this occasion, Major General Ho Sy Tien and officers and soldiers of the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes - Ministry of Public Security visited a number of historical sites in Quynh Doi commune such as the Ho family temple, the stele of female poet Ho Xuan Huong, and the tomb of Ho Tung Mau.
