Mid-Autumn Festival gifts worth 130 million VND given to children in Cam Lam commune
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 30, in Cam Lam commune, Con Cuong district, a working delegation of Nghe An Red Cross Society came to give gifts and celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with students and children in Cam Lam commune.
Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the People's Committee.mobilize the Provincial Party Committee, Con Cuong District People's Committee, sponsors and leaders of Cam Lam commune and schools.

Cam Lam is a remote commune, more than 20 km west of the center of Con Cuong district town. The whole commune currently has 44.8% poor households; the whole commune has 630 households, mainly Thai people.
The total value of gifts presented by the delegation this time is 130 million VND, including 531 sets of uniforms for preschool, primary and secondary school students, 400 pairs of plastic sandals, 02 bicycles, 400 moon cakes and some other items.
At the ceremony, the delegation members kindly visited and encouraged the students and children of Cam Lam commune to overcome difficulties and achieve good results in their studies. Along with giving gifts on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the delegation also awarded 10 scholarships, each worth 200,000 VND and books to poor students with good academic achievements; and awarded 6 gifts, each worth 1 million VND to people with disabilities in Cam Lam commune.
