Giving gifts and free porridge at Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Hospital
(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of November 22, at Nghe An Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases Hospital (Hamlet 5, Nghi Van Commune, Nghi Loc District), Nghe An Red Cross Association coordinated with Prudential Vietnam Insurance Company - branch in Nghe An - Ha Tinh to implement a program of giving gifts and distributing free porridge to patients.

70 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, were given to poor patients. In addition, nearly 300 inpatients at the hospital were also given free porridge on November 22. The total amount of money sponsored by Prudential was 40 million VND.

This is an activity within the campaign “Pru-Volunteer 2014: Joining hands to help dreams come true” implemented by Prudential in collaboration with the Red Cross of 50 provinces and cities from October to the end of 2014 on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the company’s establishment in Vietnam. The main activities of the campaign are: donating blood, giving gifts and supporting hospital fees for poor patients at hospitals across the country and providing humanitarian medical examinations.
