Giving savings books of Provincial Party Secretary to poor students
(Baonghean.vn)- On the evening of February 14 (ie 26th of Lunar New Year), authorized by the Provincial Party Secretary, leaders of Nghe An Newspaper and Quynh Luu district presented 3 savings books to 3 poor students of Quynh Luu district.
The students who received savings books include: Doan Thi Thao, class 11A6, Quynh Luu 1 High School; Hoang Thi Nga, class 7A, Ho Xuan Huong Middle School; Ho Thi Hoai, class 11A1, Quynh Luu II High School. These are students with especially difficult family circumstances but have made efforts to overcome difficulties, study hard and achieve excellent results.

Each savings book is worth 5 million VND, taken from royalties from articles written by Comrade Ho Duc Phoc, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, in Nghe An Newspaper. At the Party Celebration and Spring At Mui 2015, authorized by the Provincial Party Secretary, Comrade Le Duc Cuong, Secretary of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee and Comrade Ho Thi Ngan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, presented 3 savings books to students.

This is a policy that provincial leaders have implemented since 2012 with the intention of helping poor students and students in especially difficult circumstances, helping them to excel in their studies.
During this Lunar New Year, 11 students were awarded savings books from the Nghe An Newspaper's royalty fund by Provincial Party Secretary Ho Duc Phoc and Provincial People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Xuan Duong, with a total amount of 55 million VND, bringing the total number of students receiving savings books from 2012 to present to 26.
