Donating milk to children in provinces and cities affected by storms and floods
On the morning of October 20, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and Abbott - a global healthcare company launched the program "Providing nutrition, sending love" to donate drinking milk to children in 9 provinces and cities affected by storms No. 10 and 11.
According to the agreement, Abbott will sponsor 500,000 boxes of Grow liquid milk worth a total of about 5 billion VND to supplement nutrition for children aged 3 and above in the provinces and cities of Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa. The products will be given to over 100,000 children in localities affected by recent storms and floods.
Together with the Central Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, Abbott will visit and present gifts to children in Da Nang on October 21. The remaining sponsored gifts will continue to go to children in other provinces in the flood-affected area from October 22-30.
First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nguyen Dac Vinh highly appreciated Abbott's timely support and said he would coordinate with Abbott to deliver this gift to the right person as quickly as possible.
