Although operating under an autonomous, self-managed and self-financing mechanism, scientists have always strived and innovated to provide the market with products that are of practical significance in life. Typically, the Center for Research and Development of Biochemical Technology has researched plant growth regulators and pesticides that are effective and do not affect crops and the environment. The Center for DNA Analysis and Genetic Technology has focused on researching and applying modern DNA analysis technologies in the world to practice in Vietnam, completely mastering the world's DNA technology to determine bloodline and successfully performing thousands of DNA testing cases.

Every year, science and technology organizations have signed many science and technology contracts, achieved high revenue, contributing to solving jobs for thousands of workers. The Center for Research and Application of New Technology and Environment has just completed an advanced waste treatment technology line, suitable for Vietnam's socio-economic conditions. The Company's revenue has increased steadily over the years and has now reached tens of billions of VND per year.

Non-public science and technology organizations also always focus on community development activities, poverty reduction, discrimination reduction, social evils reduction, assistance to disadvantaged groups in society... The results of activities in this field have contributed practically to improving life, raising understanding and awareness of all aspects of the community, thereby helping to change community behavior as well as helping policy makers to propose measures to solve and support social problems.

In order for non-public science and technology organizations to continue operating effectively, in the coming time, the Ministry of Science and Technology will continue to research and propose to the Government to promulgate appropriate and practical regimes and policies for the operations of non-public science and technology organizations, creating equality with public science and technology organizations not only in terms of legality but also in practical operations such as opportunities to access funding from the State through bidding for topics and projects; research and develop regulations on rewards and honors for science and technology organizations that have made practical contributions to society, especially non-public science and technology organizations./.
