Hoang Mai Town Party Committee was established under Decision No. 4262 - QD/TU dated June 15, 2013 of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee. After 6 months of operation, under the leadership and direction of the Town Party Committee Executive Committee, the town's economy continued to develop well, production value increased by 8.5%; economic structure shifted in the right direction; quickly overcame the consequences of storms and floods, culture and society had many positive changes; national defense and security were maintained, Party building work and government activities were focused on and effectively promoted. It directed the effective promotion of "studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" associated with the key tasks of socio-economic development of the town.

Overview of the Conference.

According to the evaluation and classification results of grassroots Party organizations in 2013, 7/17 Party organizations achieved the title of clean and strong, accounting for 41.2%, 6/17 Party organizations completed their tasks well, accounting for 35.3%, and 4/17 Party organizations completed their tasks, accounting for 23.5%.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to 1 affiliated party cell, 2 affiliated party cells of the grassroots party committee that achieved the title of exemplary clean and strong for 3 consecutive years and 11 party members who have excellently completed their tasks for 3 consecutive years.

Concluding the conference, comrade Doan Hong Vu, Secretary of the Town Party Committee - Chairman of the Town People's Council pointed out that in the coming time, localities and units need to continue to promote advantages, point out shortcomings to overcome, pay attention to urban development so that the town soon meets the criteria of a type 4 urban area, and at the same time meets the criteria of a type 3 urban area; ensure national defense and security, especially during Tet; strive to complete the set socio-economic targets.
