ThaiBinh Seed Group inaugurates new facility in Central Highlands
At Cho Lo Industrial Cluster, Tam Thai Commune, Phu Ninh District, Quang Nam Province, ThaiBinh Seed Group has just held the inauguration ceremony of the new facility of ThaiBinh Seed Central Highlands Company Limited.
This facility is built on an area of nearly 10,000m² with a total investment of nearly 50 billion VND, including an operating building, factory, warehouse system and synchronous auxiliary items. The modern drying system and processing line here help improve productivity and product quality, meeting the increasing demand of the market.
The inauguration of the new facility marks an important step forward in the development of ThaiBinh Seed in the Central Highlands. The company has cooperated with more than 20 agricultural cooperatives in the region, implementing a linkage model on an area of over 2,000 hectares, purchasing an average of 9,000 tons of commercial seeds each year, creating added value for the local crop industry from 20 to 22 billion VND/year.
ThaiBinh Seed's high-quality seed sets are widely available in the Central Highlands provinces, many of which have become local staples such as TBR97, BC15, TBR-1, TBR225, TBR45, TBR36, VS36 corn, TB25 peanuts, TBM18 and TBM135 waxy corn.
The company has over 200 suppliers, including cooperatives and a number of agricultural technical centers in the districts, to provide timely seed products to farmers.
Mr. Tran Manh Bao - Chairman of the Board of Directors of ThaiBinh Seed Group emphasized that the inauguration and putting into use of the new facility not only helps to improve production capacity, but also demonstrates ThaiBinh Seed's long-term commitment to accompany farmers in the Central Highlands region. With a solid foundation and modern system, the company will continue to grow stronger, contributing positively to the development of Vietnam's agricultural sector.
With great contributions in the field of rice seed production and agricultural development, ThaiBinh Seed has received many noble awards such as the Third Class Independence Medal, 12 Labor Medals of various types, the Third Class Feat Medal, and many other awards and titles.
