WHA Group, Thailand invests 50 million USD to build second industrial park in Nghe An
The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has approved the policy for WHA Group to carry out investment procedures.

Through its subsidiary, WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An Joint Stock Company, Thailand's leading corporation in the field of logistics and industrial utility solutions will invest in WHA Industrial Zone 2 - Nghe An industrial park on a total area of 183.37 hectares.
The total investment capital of the project is 50 million USD, with an operating period of 50 years from the date of investment policy approval.
The construction site of WHA Industrial Zone 2 - Nghe An belongs to Zone D - Nam Cam Industrial Park, in Nghi Loc district, including 2 areas: Area 1 has an area of nearly 118 hectares in Nghi Hung commune, Area 2 has an area of more than 65 hectares in Nghi Dong commune.
The project aims to develop industrial park infrastructure to create clean land and synchronous infrastructure to attract secondary projects for investment and business activities. The expected progress is to be built and put into operation in the period from the first quarter of 2025 to the first quarter of 2028.
Previously, WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An Joint Stock Company was the investor of the WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An project with a scale of 498 hectares, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 681/QD-TTg dated May 22, 2017 and adjusted the approval of the investment policy in Decision No. 360/QD-TTg dated February 15, 2021.
After 6 years of implementation, phase 1 has been completed with a land use scale of 143.5 hectares, and phase 2 is currently under construction with a land use scale of 354.5 hectares.
At WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An, 32 investment projects with a total registered investment capital of 41,361 billion VND, equivalent to 1.65 billion USD, have been attracted.
