Training to improve professional skills of grassroots cultural officers

(Baonghean.vn) - During 2 days (December 12-14), in Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh), the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism)Organize training courses to improve professional skills for grassroots cultural officers at the commune level in 2014.

The training course was attended by 80 trainees who are grassroots cultural officers at the commune level of the provinces: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, of which Nghe An province had 20 trainees attending.

In his speech directing the training course, comrade Vuong Duy Bao - Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture emphasized the importance of building a cultural lifestyle and building new rural areas today. In order for the training course to be highly effective, he asked the trainees to uphold their sense of responsibility, focus on research, and boldly discuss issues arising in their actual work, to improve the quality of consulting and proposing work in implementing cultural activities at the grassroots level.

During the 2 days, students will learn the following topics: Overview of Grassroots Culture; Management skills, Instructions on organizing activities in Grassroots Culture institutions; Editing and staging of mass art programs; Instructions on the use of the National Flag, National Emblem, National Anthem, Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh; Improving the quality and effectiveness of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life"; Developing rural culture in the new rural construction chapter. In addition, lecturers and students will exchange difficulties and experiences in implementing cultural activities at the grassroots level, thereby helping students supplement their knowledge in the fields they are responsible for, gradually improving their professional skills in building a cultural lifestyle and building new rural areas at the grassroots level./.
