Training on online bidding

(Baonghean.vn) -On November 23, the Department of Planning and Investment organized a training course on online bidding. Attending the training were leaders of the Bidding Department - Ministry of Planning and Investment and leaders, experts of departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in the province, along with representatives of agencies, investors, project management boards, and enterprises operating in the construction sector.

Overview of the training session

Online bidding is quite new in Vietnam and after 1 year of pilot implementation (phase 1) at 3 agencies: Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group and Vietnam Electricity Group, it has achieved good results. Implementing the plan to develop online bidding, Nghe An is one of the localities to implement it early. The Department of Planning and Investment invited leaders of the Bidding Department - Ministry of Planning and Investment, administrative experts to introduce regulations and circulars of the state on online bidding and directly guide the practice of logging into the system, posting online bidding information into the national bidding system. The widespread implementation of online bidding aims to contribute to reducing transaction costs, increasing competitiveness so that bidding packages have the most suitable prices, increasing investment efficiency and to publicize, make transparent, and modernize bidding, thereby helping to strengthen measures to prevent and combat corruption in the bidding process...
