Training on military logistics and production for Lao People's Army officers
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 20, at the Military School of Military Region 4, the Quartermaster Department (General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People's Army) opened two training courses on Quartermaster work and Production Increase for officers of the Lao People's Army.
Major General Nguyen Xuan Hai, Director of the Military Region Department (General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People's Army), Major General Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4, Colonel PhimMaChanh - VongPanNha, Chief Defense Attaché of the Lao People's Army in Vietnam attended the opening ceremony.
During the period of 1 month, 30 cadres of the Military Supply, Production and Logistics Command, and Military Supply of the Military Commands of provinces, cities, regiments, and schools under the Lao People's Army were introduced by teachers of the Logistics Academy and the Military Supply Department of the Vietnam People's Army and equipped with basic knowledge on ensuring military supplies, uniforms, and food; Management of military supplies and funds; Organization and production management; Cultivation and animal husbandry techniques to stabilize and improve the quality of feeding soldiers.

During the training program, Lao People's Army students also visited production and livestock models at some units under Military Region 4, Military Region 2 and the Engineering Corps.

The training course is a favorable condition for the Vietnam People's Army to introduce and exchange some contents and experiences on ensuring food, clothing, increasing production, and managing industry construction, thereby helping Laos to research and apply them to organize and implement them in practice at the unit, contributing to improving the health and fighting strength of the Lao People's Army.
This is also one of the cooperation contents demonstrating the solidarity, loyal and practical friendship between the Logistics and Quartermaster sectors of the two brotherly countries Vietnam and Laos.
