Training on foreign information work, propaganda on seas, islands and border demarcation and marker planting

(Baonghean) - This morning, November 29, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department held a training conference on foreign information work, propaganda on seas, islands and border demarcation and marker planting in 2011. Comrade Bui The Duc - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department attended and directed the conference.

Attending and reporting at the Conference were representatives of the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Navy Command, the Border Guard Command, the Ministries of Information and Communications, Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade, Science and Technology, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Agriculture and Rural Development, Natural Resources and Environment; the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Overseas Party Committee, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, the National Committee for Search and Rescue; representatives of departments, branches, and press agencies of 33 provinces and cities in the Northern region.

Overview of the Conference

The conference updated professional information related to foreign information work, sea and island propaganda and border demarcation as well as exchanged and discussed experiences and initiatives for information and propaganda teams in localities and units to improve the quality of information and propaganda in the current situation.

The delegates listened to a number of presentations and shared many good experiences of sectors and localities on issues related to foreign information work, propaganda of seas and islands and demarcation and marker planting in recent times. Thereby contributing to improving professional skills, grasping and processing information, reporting, writing propaganda articles on mass media and oral propaganda. At the same time, strengthening state management of foreign information, fighting against false information and distorted arguments of political opportunists and reactionaries.

The training course takes place over 2 days, November 29-30.
