Training on Nghe An folk songs in 2012

This is an activity to serve the upcoming Vi and Giam Folk Song Club Festival. There were 150 trainees who are heads of cultural information departments, directors of Culture, Information and Sports Centers of 14 districts and cities; heads of folk song clubs, captains of folk music teams of wards, communes and towns; and non-professional authors of folk songs of Nghe An participating in the training.
Performance of the scene "Love Song"
During the 1-day period, the students were introduced by lecturers and organizers to the purpose and significance of the 2012 Nghe An Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival, aiming to continue to preserve and promote the inherent values and typical values of the singing and performing genres, aiming to prepare a dossier to submit to UNESCO for recognition of Nghe An Vi and Giam folk songs as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity; to convey and guide about the space, environment and forms of Vi and Giam folk song performances; how to build performing genres; and to introduce traditional costumes associated with props in folk song singing.
At the training class, after being introduced to the theory and experience of researching the performances, the students watched illustrative films and held discussions, exchanged experiences on how to write scripts, stage works, etc.
