Training in journalism on the activities of elected bodies

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 18, 2013, in Vinh City, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council coordinated with the People's Representative Newspaper to organize a training course to exchange skills and journalism expertise on the activities of elected agencies.

Attending the training course were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Van Tan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and officers and civil servants of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council committees.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered the opening speech of the training course.

During the 1-day period, the students listened to journalist Ho Anh Tai, Editor-in-Chief of the People's Representative Newspaper, discuss journalism related to propaganda, reflecting the activities of elected bodies; basic concepts and genres of news and articles on printed publications and how to present news and articles. Through evaluating the results of 2 years of putting the Nghe An People's Representative Electronic Information Page into operation, the Editorial Board of the People's Representative Newspaper also had some professional exchanges to improve the quality of this Electronic Information Page.

In addition to professional activities, this is one of the practical activities to enhance the quality of information and propaganda work on the activities of elected bodies and people's representatives, thereby effectively propagating the activities of the People's Council, helping the activities of the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council to be closer to life and readers./.
