Training on preventing and combating child abuse crimes in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 6, in Quy Hop, the Criminal Police Department, Ministry of Public Security organized a training course to improve capacity to prevent and combat crimes against children and crimes among minors for the police force of 8 districts: Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Anh Son, Nghia Dan, Quy Chau, Que Phong and Quy Hop.
On November 6 and 7, more than 60 police officers from 8 districts received the following basic contents: The situation of child abuse crimes nationwide; Some issues of Vietnamese law related to the prevention of child abuse crimes; Some psychological issues of sexually abused children and signs of recognition; Difficulties in receiving and verifying child sexual abuse cases.
In addition, the training also provided trainees with information on prevention, receiving reports and denunciations of crimes of sexual abuse against people under 16 years old; Verification and taking friendly statements from victims and witnesses who are children in sexual abuse cases; Skills in investigating cases of sexual abuse against people under 16 years old; planning to take statements from victims of sexual abuse and solving situational exercises.
