Military training for Lao People's Army platoon level officers

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the Minutes signed between Division 324 (Military Region 4, Vietnam People's Army) and Division 1, Lao People's Army on July 1, 2012 and with the agreement of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, the Command of Military Region 4, Vietnam People's Army and the Ministry of National Defense of Laos, on the afternoon of June 3, 2014 at Regiment 335, Division 324 opened a training course for military officers at the squad level of Division 1, Lao People's Army.

Attending the opening ceremony of the training course on the side of Division 324 was Comrade Nguyen Van Su, Division Commander, on the side of the Lao People's Army was Comrade Colonel Xon Thong Keo Lo Kham, Division Commander, Division 1. The trainees of this training course included 15 military officers at the squad level of Division 1.

Overview of the training session

In order for the training course to achieve its required goals, Division 324 (Military Region 4) established a Steering Committee, an Organizing Committee and a team of teachers, while Regiment 335 prepared accommodation, activities, training grounds and training materials fully and thoughtfully.

The training content includes: Infantry platoon defense in mountainous terrain; Tactical team training; Infantry platoon attack on enemy pauses... In addition, the training class organized for the students to visit some historical sites and scenic spots in Nghe An province. The training and stay in Vietnam is from June 3 to June 20, 2014. On this occasion, the armies of Vietnam and Laos gave gifts to Division 324 (Military Region 4) and Division 1 of the Lao People's Army.
