Training on implementing the Law on Persons with Disabilities
(Baonghean.vn) –On the morning of June 24, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs held a training conference on the Law on Persons with Disabilities issued by the National Assembly on June 17, 2010, Decree No. 28/2012/ND-CP dated April 10, 2012 and a number of policies for persons with disabilities in Nghe An province.
Attending the training were representatives of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Office of 20 districts and cities across the province.
Training class scene
The Law on Persons with Disabilities issued by the National Assembly in 2010 includes 10 chapters and 53 articles regulating issues of social protection, education, medical examination, employment, etc. related to persons with disabilities. The training course focuses on the implementation of the Law and the Decree detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Persons with Disabilities, and documents guiding the implementation of policies and regimes for persons with disabilities in a synchronous and effective manner. These include guidance on the establishment of a council to determine the level of disability at the commune level; guidance on determining the type of disability and the level of disability; procedures and documents for determining the type of disability and the level of disability; guidance on methods and tools for determining the level of disability, the process of granting certificates to persons with disabilities; guidance on the implementation of social protection policies for persons with disabilities.
Through training to improve the professional qualifications and skills of officials and civil servants of provincial departments, branches and districts, cities, People's Committees of wards, communes and towns in implementing policies and regimes for people with disabilities, fairly and publicly, avoiding mistakes, ensuring that all people with disabilities enjoy the regime according to regulations.
