Training on Climate Change and Green Growth
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 13, the Provincial People's Committee organized a training course to raise awareness and action on climate change and green growth for the leadership team of Deputy Directors, Deputy Heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors. Attending the conference were Mr. Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ms. Bui Thi Hop - Director of the Center for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD) - Vietnam Forest and Delta Project.

During the 2 days (January 13-14), lecturers will give an overview of climate change, its causes, response solutions and some policies and scenarios related to climate change; the concept of green growth.Trainees will discuss issues surrounding climate change response and green growth in line with the province's socio-economic development strategy, thereby making strategic decisions and solutions to respond to climate change in the areas under their management.
