Focus on aquatic seed production
(Baonghean.vn) - Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai is a center for aquatic seed production. Not only supplying the province, in recent years, with the rapid application of technical advances, plus the province's incentive mechanism, the seed production facilities here have developed rapidly and have become a prestigious seed production center of the entire North Central region.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Cuong's breeding facility in Quynh Lien brought in 250 pairs of white-leg shrimp parents more than a month ago. After checking for diseases and breeding, they have so far produced more than 20 million shrimp. This is the first facility in the province to successfully breed white-leg shrimp. To diversify aquatic breeding sources, in recent years, breeding farms have also produced crab breeds, producing tens of millions of crab breeds each year to supply the farming area.
