Information from the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control: The sample of a patient from Tan Ky district sent to the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology has tested negative for the Corona virus. Thus, up to this point, all 12/12 samples of suspected patients are negative. Nghe An has no more suspected cases that need to be isolated and treated.
The 12 suspected cases of Corona virus in Nghe An all returned from China and Taiwan for Tet. They later developed common colds with symptoms of fever and cough. As soon as they were discovered, these cases were isolated and tested.
11/12 of these cases are scattered in districts and towns in the province, specifically: Que Phong (01 person), Quy Chau (03 people), Thai Hoa Town (03 people), Dien Chau (01 person), Quynh Luu (01 person), Tan Ky (01 person), Nghia Dan (01 person).
