Fishing boat sank at sea, 13 fishermen luckily escaped
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 27, Mr. Ho Hoang Nghiep - Chairman of Tien Thuy Commune People's Committee (Quynh Luu District) informed that fishing boat NA 90286 TS owned by Mr. Cao Xuan Luong residing in Phong Thai village (Tien Thuy) sank at sea while fishing.

Accordingly, at around 6:00 p.m. on November 26, fishing boat NA 90286 TS, manned by Mr. Cao Xuan Luong and 12 fishermen, was fishing at sea at 19.19 North latitude - 106.44 East longitude - 60 nautical miles from Lach Quen port (in the waters of Thanh Hoa province) when it sank. Due to timely discovery, the owner of the fishing boat contacted several other boats fishing nearby to come to the rescue. The 13 fishermen on board were fortunately safe.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ke - Chairman of Tien Thuy Commune Fisheries Association said that after receiving information that the local fishermen's fishing boat had sunk, the Commune People's Committee informed Quynh Luu District and the Department of Agriculture to have a plan to salvage the fishing boat in distress.
It is known that Mr. Cao Xuan Luong jointly invested in the sunken ship with some fishermen on board. The ship has a capacity of 450CV, and costs more than 3 billion VND.
