Fishing boat of Nghi Thuy ward fishermen had an accident at sea

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 7:00 p.m. on November 27, fishing boat NA 0904 TS, owned by Mr. Trinh Xuan Kien, residing in Block 6, Nghi Thuy Ward (ship owner) and 4 fishermen, collided with a mud tanker of the Dredging Company at Cua Lo Port on the way to Lach Lo. After the collision, fishing boat NA 0904 TS sank.

Immediately afterwards, the ship owner quickly contacted several other boats near the accident site to come to the rescue in time, so the four fishermen on board were lucky to escape.

Upon receiving the news, the Nghi Thuy Ward Rescue Committee coordinated with fishing boats of local fishermen to successfully salvage the fishing boat and bring it ashore, with estimated damage of about 15 million VND. Currently, the authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause of the sinking.
