Fishing boat hits reef, 10 fishermen escape

(Baonghean.vn) - While on the way to sea, fishing boat NA-93223-TS, operated by Mr. Thai Ba Lam, residing in Hamlet 3, Son Hai Commune (Quynh Luu) and 10 fishermen, due to fog obscuring visibility, crashed into a reef (Hon Coc) in Quynh Long Commune, about 1.5km from the mainland. The boat was broken into pieces, and the fishermen on board were fortunately rescued.

Accordingly, in the early morning of November 11, receiving information that fishing boat NA-93223-TS was on its way to exploit when it hit a reef about 1.5km from the mainland, the boat was broken apart, the engine died, 10 fishermen were fortunately rescued by ships on the same trip.

At 8:30 a.m. on November 11, the NA-93223-TS ship was salvaged and is being towed to shore. It is known that the NA-93223-TS ship was jointly invested by Mr. Thai Ba Lam and 6 friends with a value of 1.5 billion VND, this is the 3rd exploitation trip.
