Subway derailment in New York, nearly 40 people injured
On June 27, nearly 40 people were injured when a subway train in New York City, USA, derailed, trapping hundreds of passengers for more than an hour.

A New York City fire department spokesman said the accident happened around 10 a.m. (local time) on the A train running between two stations in the Harlem area, northern Manhattan, leaving 36 people with minor injuries.
It took more than an hour and a half to evacuate all passengers from the subway station.
The cause of the derailment is still unknown, but the incident has paralyzed traffic in the area for the entire day. All subway lines A, B, C, and D have been temporarily suspended.
The New York City Transportation Authority said it is investigating the incident./.
