Hai Phong submarine will dock at Cam Ranh port on December 10.
Interfax news agency reported that Russia has handed over the third submarine in a series of six submarines to Vietnam and that the submarine is expected to arrive at Cam Ranh port on December 10.
The Kilo 636 class diesel-electric submarine, Hai Phong, was delivered by Admiralty Shipyard and transported to Vietnam by ship. Meanwhile, the fourth submarine began testing in June 2014.

After the Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong submarines, the next submarines to be delivered will be named Da Nang, Khanh Hoa and Ba Ria-Vung Tau respectively.
