Teacher Vi Thi Hien - Principal of Nhon Mai Kindergarten said: “In Nhon Mai, the students are all children of ethnic minorities such as Kho Mu, Mong and Thai. Life is difficult, their parents often work far away, some families stay in the fields for a long time before returning home, lacking the care of their parents, their personal hygiene is limited. Since the soldiers of Nhon Mai Border Guard Station cut their hair for free, the students are cleaner and tidier.”
Major Nguyen Hai Ly - Nhon Mai Border Guard Station said: "Every week, soldiers of the Station go to schools and villages to cut hair for students and people. Up to now, soldiers of the Station have cut hair for nearly 200 people."
This activity not only helps students and ethnic people here have the conditions to take care of their hair neatly but also contributes to strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people, beautifying the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the hearts of people in the border area./.
