Although his name was on the list of participants in the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Binh An" Nham Dan 2022 of the Dong Nam Economic Zone Union, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Cutting worker, cutting team 2, Minh Anh Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company was not lucky enough to attend this event. 2 months ago, Mr. Thang unfortunately suffered a 5th degree electric burn and had to be hospitalized for a long time. Over the phone, he was moved: "I could not attend "Tet Sum Vay" with everyone, but the union sent gifts to my house. I am truly grateful to the company union and Dong Nam Economic Zone Union for their care and support during the past difficult time. Everyone not only did not forget me but also continued to accompany, love and encourage me. That affection is the motivation for me to try, overcome myself and return to work soon."

Attending the event "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Binh An" Nham Dan 2022 with 23 of her colleagues, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien - a worker at Matrix Vinh Co., Ltd. expressed her deep gratitude to the organizers. In the bustling New Year music at the event, Ms. Hien shared: "I don't know how to describe my feelings. Here, we were welcomed as honored guests, watched special performances, participated in games... I have never participated in such a special program, and never thought that one day I would have the opportunity to meet and receive gifts from central leaders. The gifts we received are not only material gifts but also have great spiritual meaning." It is known that during the recent outbreak, Ms. Hien's husband was unemployed, and the family's income became even more difficult when the two young children were often sick.

During the lucky draw at the program "Tet Sum vay - Xuan Binh an" organized by the Agricultural Trade Union at Tay Hieu 3 Farm - Ms. Vo Thi Thuan (worker of Nghe An Coffee - Rubber One Member Co., Ltd.) was lucky to receive a valuable prize from the organizing committee. The whole hall burst into applause when her name was called, because she is one of the people with the most difficult circumstances in the agency. "I have worked at the company for 13 years now but have never participated in such a large and joyful "Tet Sum vay". Putting aside the hustle and bustle of life, I got to watch performances, interact, receive gifts and become a lucky person. I really thank the union very much" - Ms. Thuan confided.

For Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh - an employee of Vinh Railway Transport Branch, the past year was a year full of ups and downs. Her meager salary had to cover her husband's medical treatment, her children's education, and her debts... Receiving a gift from the Vietnam Railways Corporation's union in the "Tet Sum Vay" 2022 program, Ms. Oanh could not hide her tears. Trains stopped running for 2 months, industry revenue decreased, but she still received attention, support, and priority from the corporation, union, and colleagues.

Receiving the gift from the Provincial Federation of Labor and the company's union at the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Binh An" organized by the Construction Industry Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong excitedly said: "I will bring this gift bag home to share with my parents and I will put the cash I receive in a piggy bank for my children. It is not grand or grand, but this care makes us feel proud to be a union member."

As the MC for the event "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Binh An" Nham Dan 2022, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy - Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Federation of Labor shared that this is the first time that the central-level delegation including Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh - Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor stayed to attend from the beginning to the end of the program, so the organizing committee needs to create a script that is both quick and professional, ensuring both political and closeness to union members and workers. According to Ms. Thuy, the program only has one week of preparation and is constantly changing according to the schedule of the delegation, so each member of the organizing committee must be truly proactive, flexible and enhance their sense of responsibility.

Participating in the preparation for all 7 programs "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Binh An" Nham Dan 2022 organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor, Ms. Le Dieu Hoa - specialist of the Legal Policy Department said: "The time of the series of events is also when the Provincial Federation of Labor is facing difficulties in terms of staff numbers, many people have to quarantine at home to prevent and fight Covid-19. Those who stay have to make double efforts, from supporting funding for rapid testing, gifts to the exchange, drawing lots, from choosing the location to the program's general rehearsal... On the days the events take place in 2 places far apart, everyone has to get up from 4-5 am and return late at night".

Rated as one of the units with the impressive "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Binh An" program,Thai Hoa Town Labor FederationThere has been innovation and creativity in the organization stage. In addition to organizing in enterprises with many union members and workers, the Thai Hoa Town Labor Federation also organizes in enterprises that do not have a union organization. Sharing about this, Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Thuy - President of the Thai Hoa Town Labor Federation said: "After listening to us share about the meaning of the "Tet Sum Vay" program, the leaders of Tai Dat Loc Joint Stock Company immediately agreed to lend the location. Among the 90 workers with difficult circumstances who received gifts at the program, 16 were workers of this company. It was during that event that some workers proactively told me that they wanted to join the union organization, how to become union members".

It is known that 90 gifts to support workers in difficult circumstances are mobilized annually by the Thai Hoa Town Labor Federation from socialized sources. The close survey and giving of gifts in the right way and to the right people have created the prestige of the local trade union organization, helping the activities receive consensus and support from the government and businesses.

One of the concerns of the union staff before and after Tet is the strike because of Tet bonuses. To avoid unexpected situations, the union staff of Dong Nam Economic Zone always put themselves in a position to be ready to support the grassroots union. Ms. Tran Thi Nguyet - Vice President of Dong Nam Economic Zone Union said: "Our grassroots union staff all hold concurrent positions, so their workload during the last days of the year is extremely heavy. They have to do both professional work and a large amount of union work. To encourage and share with this team,Southeast Economic Zone Trade Unionorganized a cozy and intimate "Tet Sum Vay" program exclusively for union officials in advance. In addition, we also require all trade unions to publicly and transparently disclose the price of gifts, avoiding unnecessary controversy and discontent among workers. If any unusual movements occur, the KKT Trade Union will directly go to the grassroots to resolve them immediately. Only then can we ensure the peace that "Tet Sum Vay" aims for.
