Thaco introduces Peugeot RCZ sports car with many features

Truong Hai Auto Corporation (Thaco) has just officially announced the selling price of the 2-door Peugeot RCZ sports car imported from France.

The above car model costs 1.995 billion VND, including VAT.

This is the best price for a powerful 2-door sports car and European brand. Therefore, Thaco is confident that the RCZ has a big price advantage over its competitors.

Mr. Bui Kim Kha - Director of Thaco Passenger Car Business Division - General Director of Thaco PC said that with price support from Peugeot Group, the RCZ sports car model has an attractive selling price of 1.995 billion VND.

According to Mr. Kha, the first batch of RCZ cars arriving in Vietnam at the end of September was enthusiastically received by Vietnamese customers and has almost sold out. The second batch is expected to arrive at Saigon port in early November this year.

Peugeot RCZ is one of the successful 2-door sports cars of Peugeot group. This is also the first Peugeot model that does not apply the traditional 3-digit, 4-digit naming method.

With its outstanding design and sportiness, as soon as it was released to the market in 2010, RCZ won the title of Coupe of the year and the most beautifully designed sports car of the year.

The heart of the Peugeot RCZ is a 1.6L Turbo engine with a maximum capacity of 156 horsepower at 6000 rpm, maximum torque of 240 Nm at 1400-4000 rpm, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission for a maximum speed of up to 212 km/h; average fuel consumption of 7.3 liters/100 km; Euro 5 emission standards. The RCZ has a turbocharger system that helps the engine achieve greater capacity (equivalent to or greater than 2.0L engines) and save fuel.

With its effectiveness, the engine has been honored for 8 consecutive years with the award "Engine of the Year in the 1.4L - 1.8L gasoline engine segment." This is a product jointly researched and produced by Peugeot and BMW groups.
