Earlier, police began removing barricades and sandbags erected by protesters, then demolished protest camps on Rajdamnoen Road at Makkhawan Bridge.

Police are now withdrawing from Chaeng Wattana Road and have decided not to retake a protest site controlled by Buddhist monk Luang Pu Budda Issara, whose protest site is blocking civil servants from entering government headquarters./.
